Research Material Storage Guide

Proper storage is essential for maintaining the integrity and consistency of laboratory research materials. This guide provides general storage and organization practices for Zeplabs research materials and accessories.

General Storage Practices

Store research materials in a clean, controlled environment protected from excessive heat, direct light, moisture, and unnecessary temperature fluctuations. Always follow the storage conditions provided on the individual product label or accompanying documentation, as requirements may vary by material.

Temperature & Environment

Maintain materials under the temperature conditions specified for the individual product. Avoid repeated or unnecessary changes in storage temperature. Keep storage areas clean, dry, organized, and away from direct sunlight or other sources of heat.

Protection From Light & Moisture

Keep research materials in properly closed containers and protect them from unnecessary exposure to light and moisture. Minimize the amount of time containers remain open and return materials to their designated storage environment promptly after laboratory handling.

Organization & Identification

Maintain clear identification of all stored materials using product names, lot or batch information, and other applicable laboratory records. Keep different materials physically organized to reduce mix-ups and make inventory and documentation easier to manage.

Laboratory Handling

Handle research materials using appropriate laboratory practices and clean equipment suitable for the intended research application. Minimize unnecessary handling and exposure to environmental conditions that could affect material integrity.

Important Storage Notice

Storage requirements may vary by product. Always refer to the individual product label, Certificate of Analysis, and accompanying documentation for product-specific information. Zeplabs research materials are intended exclusively for laboratory research purposes and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
